At The Big House Independent Living Home, our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and faith-centered home for adults 55 and older.
Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of love, service, family, and community, we are committed to helping residents maintain their independence while enjoying meaningful friendships and a supportive environment.
We strive to treat every resident with kindness, dignity, and compassion, creating a place where faith is strengthened, relationships grow, and every person feels valued and at home.

Nestled on County Line Road in Dothan, our residents keep their independence and their belongings, while our staff takes care of the rest — meals, housekeeping, laundry, and a friendly face checking in every day. It leaves you time for what actually matters: a game of cards, a walk in the garden, or an afternoon on the porch swing.
